When you buy fruit juice, take a close look at the label to see how much sugar and calories the drink contains. For example, just 4 ounces of 100 percent grape juice has 75 calories! Choose 100 percent unsweetened fruit juice instead of sweetened juice drinks, punches, or fruit juice cocktails.

If your children prefer drinking their fruits and vegetables, a good way to get all of the nutrients is to blend them into a smoothie! This way, you know exactly what you’re giving your kids and you can even sneak some extra fruits and vegetables into their diet. Water is a refreshing option for thirsty kids, too.
