Say OMMMMMM ... Meditating may be good for your heart



Meditation may decrease the risk of heart disease, but the key word to remember is “may.”

Research suggests that there is a possible modest benefit from various types of “sitting meditation.”

Some types of yoga looked at by researchers were: Samatha; Vipassana (Insight Meditation); Mindful Meditation; Zen Meditation (Zazen); Raja Yoga; Loving-Kindness (Metta); Transcendental Meditation; and Relaxation Response.
